According to the Hindu calendar, Pradosh Vrat is observed on the Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna and Shukla Paksha every month. It is believed that by observing this fast, all the wishes of the person are fulfilled.  

Ashada Amavasya (25 June 2025, Wednesday): The Amavasya that falls in the fourth month of the Hindu year, Ashadha, is called Ashadha Amavasya, which is considered very special. However, out of all the 12 Amavasyas in a year, Ashadha Amavasya has special significance, so charity, good deeds and ancestral offerings are considered virtuous on this day. It is believed that bathing in holy rivers and pilgrimage sites on Ashadha Amavasya brings many times more auspicious results. 

Jagannath Rath Yatra (27 June, 2025 Friday): Jagannath Rath Yatra is a holy pilgrimage dedicated to Lord Jagannath which has immense importance in Hinduism. According to the Hindu calendar, Jagannath Rath Yatra is taken out on the second day of Shukla Paksha of Ashad month. This Yatra is organized every year in Puri, Odisha, in which people come from far and wide to participate and pull the chariot of the Lord. Once a year Lord Jagannath comes out of the temple with his elder brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra and gives darshan to his devotees.
